Last weekend, both the Academy East and West programs traveled upstate to compete in the Hudson Invitational Tournament.
Stringham Park was the host to 20 LIJSL Academy teams on July 17 and 18. After completing their matches, two teams were finalists and six teams were crowned tournament champions.

“Despite the poor weather on Saturday, the teams and players had a good experience at the event,” said Ronan Wiseman, LIJSL Academy Director. “After training throughout the spring, it was great for the teams to play in competition. It looks like the tournament was successful on the field with eight teams competing in the final and six of them being awarded champions.”
