The Long Island Cup, is one of the largest single-elimination soccer tournaments in the world.
The competition is for both boys and girls and is held in concurrence with the LIJSL spring season, running from March to June. Teams play their Cup games on their off day from their league season. There are three brackets – Major, Intermediate, and Minor – that teams may enter in their age group to play for the right to become a Long Island Champion.
Games are held at the home team’s field for any given round until the final. The Long Island Cup Final is then a two-day event at Stony Brook Soccer Club’s P-Lot Fields.
