Longtime LIJSL TOPSoccer Chairperson Ann Marie Toth was inducted into the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association Hall of Fame on Saturday, January 24. The ceremony took place at the ENY Hall of Fame Banquet at Marina del Rey in the Bronx.
Toth has spearheaded the LIJSL TOPSoccer program since 1979, along with the same duties at Plainview/Old Bethpage Soccer Club. She has been instrumental in putting together TOPSoccer events such as the TOPSoccer Friendship Cup, TOPSoccer Under The Stars Night, and the recent addition of TOPSoccer league play.
TOPSoccer, The Outreach Program for Soccer for children and adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical challenges, all under the US Youth Soccer umbrella, has grown to 28 LIJSL clubs under Toth’s guidance.
She is also a member of the LIJSL Hall of Fame, an honor she received in 2005.
The LIJSL congratulates Ann Marie Toth for her induction and thanks her for the continued dedication to the TOPSoccer program.
