LIJSL Teams Ready For League Championship Finals

The US Youth Soccer (USYS) League Championship Finals kick off this weekend in Long Island at the Bethpage Polo Fields.

The League Championship Finals will be played over two days with 22 LIJSL teams competing. The winners of each respective age group (U13-U19) book a ticket to the USYS Eastern Regional Championship.

“Adding this pathway for teams to get to regionals, provides LIJSL clubs another opportunity to reach a further level of competition,” LIJSL Technical Director Ronan Wiseman said. “Our region has always been extremely difficult to navigate through State Cup because of the number of good teams on Long Island.”

League Championship is in the competition’s second year and LIJSL is joined by Club Champions League (CCL), New England Club Soccer League (NECSL), and National Capital Soccer League (NCSL).
