The US Youth Soccer (USYS) League Championship is being hosted by LIJSL and the final round will be held at the Bethpage Polo Fields on May 21-22.
Clubs that win their respective age group brackets advance to the USYS Eastern Regional Championships.
“In its second year of running, Long Island Junior Soccer league is excited to host USYS League Championship at the Bethpage Polo Fields,” LIJSL Technical Director Ronan Wiseman said. “League Championship is a great opportunity for our teams to get to the Eastern Regionals, especially with all qualifying games being played locally, and this year, the League Championship Finals are also being held on Long Island.”
Clubs from Club Champions League (CCL), New England Club Soccer League (NECSL), and the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) along with LIJSL initially competed in local qualifying play before reaching this weekend’s final stage.
