It is with deepest regret that we inform you of the passing of Bill Peet, who’s association with the LIJSL and ENYYSA spanned nearly 45 years.
Bill served our League as a member of the Board of Directors for 30 years, twenty-five as our Treasurer.
Inducted into the LIJSL Hall of Fame in 1999, the Brentwood resident began volunteering in his community-based club as a coach, and then Board member, starting in the 1970’s. He was elected to the League Board in 1986, and Chaired the Appeals, Registration and Rules Committees.
An insurance industry professional, he freely lent his expertise and advice to member clubs, as well as to both the League and State (ENYYSA). Until recently, he served ENYYSA as its’ Risk Management Director.
