The LIJSL Academy Super Y program held several tryouts over the past two weekends at Cantiague Park and Centereach Park and it marked the largest group of tryout participants as the program prepares for a fourth season.
Boys and girls from U8-U19 competed for a place on the upcoming squads, showing their skill and determination across the two-week period.
During the program’s three-year history, there has been plenty of success on the field. Each year, teams have competed at the Super Y Nationals in Tampa, Fla., with four teams making the trip in 2023.
