Club Development Days Kicked Off, The Fun Continues on Sunday, May 23rd

Spring Club Development Days rebooted with a tremendous turnout across two satellite locations.

League member clubs, Garden City and HBC played host to the vastly-growing Club Development Days on Saturday, April 24th.

“It was a great day filled with pure soccer development for all those that participated in LIJSL’s Club Development Day,” said Jim Neuberger, HBC Soccer Club.

Club Development Days offer a unique, festival-style format to U7 & U8 players (born 2014 & 2013). At these events, players can anticipate three exciting matches against other LIJSL member clubs. These small-sided matches are packed with energy and smiling faces.

“We love to host this event at Garden City and seeing the fields filled with friendly competition that gives our youth an opportunity to play other local teams in a mini festival set-up,” said Jenn Costa, Garden City Soccer Club. “We look forward to hosting the next Club Development Day.”

The fun continues on Sunday, May 23rd with the second Club Development Day of the spring season. To make sure you don’t miss out, please contact your club representative (President, Registrar, or Director of Coaching) to register.
