After a successful inaugural year, the Academy East and West programs are once again gearing up. Tryouts will take place this April and May. Players who are selected for the program will compete at two tournaments this summer for their respective age group.
“We are excited to begin our second year of LIJSL Academy East and West,” LIJSL Technical Director Ronan Wiseman said. “Our first year was a great success, with 20 teams competing in the East Hudson Invitational tournament this past summer. This year we are adding a second tournament to the schedule, that LIJSL will host, to enhance the experience for the Academy players.”
Academy East tryouts will take place at Dayton Ave School in Manorville, while tryouts for Academy West will be held at St. Paul’s in Garden City.
