The LIJSL Academy Super Y teams headed to the CRUSA/FC Bucks Invitational Tournament this past weekend in Pennsylvania and put on a great showing.
During the tournament, two LIJSL Academy teams were crowned champions of their brackets. The 2012 and 2010 girls’ teams both took the top prize as the 2010 girls didn’t concede a goal during the whole tournament.
Three boys teams – 2012, 2011, and 2010 age groups – wrapped up the tournament in second place.
The LIJSL Academy Super Y teams now return to league play as they look to reach the Super Y League Finals in December.
