ECAL 2026 Winners Crowned

The Elite Clubs Alliance League finished the second year of the competition, which saw more teams compete in more age groups.

The winners of ECAL have now qualified to compete at IberCup in Estoril, Portugal from June 29-July 5, with expenses paid for aside from flights to and from the tournament.

The winners of ECAL 2026 are below:

BU9 – Brentwood SC Pre-Academy Green

BU10 – Wantagh Seaford Beasts & Massapequa 2016 Maroon (Co-Champions)

BU11 – Merrick/South Merrick PAL Sharks

GU11 – Plainedge Hurricanes

GU12 – Smithtown Kickers SC Slammers

“With the expansion of age groups for this year’s competition it has presented some great opportunities for more teams to get to the IberCup,” LIJSL Technical Director Ronan Wiseman said. “Teams from U9 to U13 had the opportunity to compete in ECAL this year with three of the winning teams traveling this summer to enjoy a fantastic soccer experience.”

Brentwood, Plainedge, and Smithtown will all be traveling to Portugal this summer.

Two teams have previously represented LIJSL in Portugal with the Commack Crush competing in last year’s event in Estoril and East Meadow 2015 boys reaching the semifinals in Cascais this past spring.
