Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) held the State Cup and Challenge Cup Finals during the weekend of May 30-31 at Blue Sky Sports Complex in Middletown. Three Long Island Junior Soccer League teams left the field as champions during the weekend.
In the State Cup, the Rockville Centre Rebels earned a 2-0 victory over the Glen Cove Cheetahs in the Girls U12 bracket.
For the Challenge Cup, Merrick/South Merrick Sharks earned back-to-back titles with a 4-1 win over the Auburndale SC Blast in the Boys U11 Platinum bracket. Patchogue Medford United FC were able to get past Clarkstown Soccer Club Boys White EDP in a tight, 1-0 contest in the Boys U10 Platinum bracket.
