A grand evening under the stars.
TOPSoccer athletes from around the Long Island Junior Soccer League participated in the Under The Stars Game at Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School on Sunday, November 2. Around 30 players came to shine representing clubs such as Plainview Old-Bethpage, HBC, New Hyde Park, Valley Stream, and West Hempstead.

The different atmosphere brought out the intensity and the best in all the players in a display of passion and joy for the game.

The LIJSL collaborated with Plainview Old-Bethpage to host the match, while many others contributed to make it a special night. Long Island Soccer Officials sent two wonderful referees and Bruce Laker, American Challenge President, donated balls for all the players to take home. Players also received goodie bags with snacks and other items to enjoy after competing.

“This is one of the most important events of the year, LIJSL Programs and Events Manager Stephanie Hernandez said. “To see our athletes’ smiling faces and high fives as well as the cheers from the crowd made the evening even more special. I’d like to thank everyone involved for making this event what it is and look forward to many more nights like it in the future.”
