Another successful summer in USL Youth play is in the books for the LIJSL Academy.
Three teams have qualified for the Electrolit USL Youth Finals in Tampa, Fla. The Finals will take place at the Hillsborough Tournament Sportsplex from December 11-15.
The U15 Girls finished with an unbeaten record of 6W-0L-2T to claim a top spot in the North Atlantic Division bracket. Both U12 Boys teams will join the girls after finishing with unbeaten records as well. LIJSL Academy (1) finished with a 7-0-0 record en route to topping their bracket in the North Atlantic Division. LIJSL Academy (2) finished with a 6-0-2 record and tied on points for first in their bracket.
While not earning Finals bids, there were several other teams that competed exceptionally well during the summer season. The U15 Boys finished tied for second on points in their bracket with a 5-2-1 record, while the U16 Boys finished in second as well with a record of 6-2-0. The U10 Girls ended the campaign with a 6-1-1 record for a second-place finish.
