The LI Cup was back in full force in 2022 after a two-year break due to the pandemic and this year’s competition came to a rousing close over two days at the Half Hollow Hills Soccer Complex on June 11-12.
Over the course of the weekend, 77 games were played as teams claimed the title of Long Island Cup Champion in different age groups and tiers. Results from each game can be seen at the link below:
The competition returned for the first time since 2019 when the first round of play kicked off on the weekend of March 19-20.
“The return of LI Cup provided so many great memories for the League’s players,” LI Cup Chairman Kevin Koehn said. “It was an exciting two days of soccer this past weekend at the Finals and all of the finalists should be proud of what they accomplished this season.”
