Club Development Days Return With Steady Growth Of Program

The spring session of Club Development Days kicked off on Sunday, April 10. The events were held in Garden City and in Huntington.

“It’s great to see Club Development Days return for the spring,” LIJSL Technical Director Ronan Wiseman said. “The program continues to grow and has expanded to two locations, one in Nassau and one in Suffolk.

“The participating clubs realize the value of the program in bringing their U7 and U8 players into an environment of zero consequences, where development and fun are the primary focus at the events. The players get to play multiple games against multiple clubs in a fun atmosphere which enhances their player experience within their club.”

Split between the two locations, over 90 teams participated in the most recent Club Development Day from 18 LIJSL member clubs. First-time participants included Westbury.

Two more events are scheduled for the spring, which will take place on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, June 5.
