Following the announcement of the Academy East, the LIJSL Academy is planning to expand its’ training programs to Nassau County & Queens County with the addition of LIJSL Academy West.
“Providing players with additional high quality training that is supplemental to their existing club programs can play a very positive role in player development. We are excited to break ground with the Academy West program and offer our Nassau County membership this great opportunity,” Ronan Wiseman, LIJSL Technical Director.
Geographically, Academy West will be collaborating with the Garden City Soccer Club, which will be providing the facilities for ID sessions and practices.
“Garden City SC is honored and excited to be a part of this unique program offered through LIJSL. The Academy West program will provide players with a platform to learn, develop, and compete at higher levels at an early age”, Robert Malhame, Garden City SC President.
The LIJSL Academy West, launching in the spring of 2021, is an economical-friendly program priced at only $295.
The program offers the following for boys and girls born in 2012 thru 2009 (U9 to U12)
- Two (2) Tryout/ ID Sessions
- Ten (10) Training sessions with nationally licensed coaches
- Hudson Valley, N.Y. summer tournament (July 17-18)
