Petro Club Weeks: Hamptons United [ Sep 12, 2012 ]

Hamptons United Soccer Club is a volunteer driven nonprofit organization that aims to provide a wholesome soccer experience through clinics, team play, and camp participation for the children of the Hampton Bays, East Quogue, Quogue, Westhampton, Remsenburg / Speonk school districts and the surrounding communities.

The club is dedicated to providing a positive soccer experience for children of all skill levels between the ages of 3 and 18, and believes that being involved in our youth soccer programs draws players, parents, coaches, and the community together into one big soccer family. HUSC strives to provide an active healthy outlet for children and assist in their development and personal growth. With that vision in place, they have set out to develop successful soccer players both on and off the field.

Programs are professionally staffed and take place throughout the year, usually at low cost or free thanks to local sponsorship and fundraising efforts. The club has built a progression system of play for kids aged three to 18 that encourages skill development and improvement for all players.

Munchkin soccer is an innovative gross motor development program designed for the youngest players that includes a series of activities that introduce the basics of soccer and movement. The Soccer Adventure clinic consists of individual and group skill training provided by professional staff. Players spend much of the practice with a ball at their feet to work on their individual skills and play in small sided scrimmages that encourage team play. Finally, there is the U9 Academy program that includes individual and group skill development in preparation for travel soccer.
