The Long Island Junior Soccer League Select Player Development Program (PDP) is now offering soccer training for players born in 2003 and 2004..jpg)
This is a Pre-Developmental Program aimed at improving the Technical ability and foot skills of younger players.
“These training sessions will be focused on improving the Technical ability of the players” said Select PDP Director of Coaching Ronan Wiseman. “The goal is to help the players improve their comfort level with the ball. That will give them a strong foundation of soccer skills to build on as they progress up the soccer ladder in the coming years.”
The program includes eight 75-minute sessions. Participants can choose to take part at the Peter C. Collins Soccer Park in Plainview or at the Sachem Soccer Fields (directions to both locations can be found here). Cost of the program is $120. The training dates are as follows (all sessions run from 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm):
• April 21st
• April 28th
• May 5th
• May 19th
• June 2nd
• June 9th
• June 16th
• June 23rd
For the first time we are also offering the LIJSL Select Pre-Developmental Camp on July 8th through July 11th (rain date July 12th). The cmp will take place at the Peter C. Collins Soccer Park in Plainview from 9 am to 1:00 pm each day. Cost for the program is $175.
